Not what Im used to

This game does ok, but the rules are so different to what I am used to, and the scoring is like nothing Ive heard of.
1) the points values are not what I am used to. We have always played that number cards are worth 5, face are 10, and ace is 15. This game considers a two is worth 2, a five is 5, and faces are 10.
2) it can only score negatively. The person who wins the hand gets 0, and everyone else gets negative points based on how many cards are they hold when the winner goes out. When one player make -500 points the game ends.
3) you have to play with jokers (wild) and multiple decks
4) although the minimum points for the initial lay can be changed, you can not disable this rule.
5) there is no option to allow the pick up of multiple cards from the discard pile, or any rules about having to play the card you pick up (from discard).

For me the game play is just too different from what I grew up with. Its almost a different game.
